A Night in Imladris by JuMclia A Night in Imladris by JuMclia

It took me ages to finish, but I'm proud to present the cover for Trollmela's Story Lingering,
in which Maedhros and Maglor both survived the First Age.

Used references: Hobbit Screencaps. Lot’s and lot’s of Hobbit screencaps. Elrond still got unruly hair, liked it better this way.
The stone structure nearly killed me. I redid it three times, to erase fix the perspective.
What I really want now, is … more Feanorian fluff. There’s never enough!

Great job, and such a pleasant surprise to see art for this story! I was so taken with the idea of Maglor and Maedhros surviving, and in this way, and also coming to Imladris in this story arc. You make this scene come out so very real.

Your comment on the stone structure made me grin - back in school, our art teacher made us draw architectural perspective and stone structure until some in class cried. I can well relate to your frustration with it! :)

It's nice to know someone feels my pain. While I had some architectural perspective in school, it's been long ago and it still doens't mean I actually get it right. Since anyone isn't pointing out mistakes, I take my crying over the picture worked. And Yes, I absolutely needed to draw a fanart for this story. It's such a sweet alternative to the actual Silmarillion, I just love it.
